I had a solo show at the Phipps Center for the Arts scheduled for June and July of this year. Owing to the virus, it has been postponed to May 2022. There’s a good side to this. I will have time to make more work. That’s also the bad side, maybe.
One of pieces I made for this exhibit is a four and a half feet wide by nine feet high woven piece made out of single-use plastic bags I accumulated for a year from our household plus some bags I got from a friend. I also occasionally stole from the plastic recycle bin at the grocery store.
